Sweet pineapple, ripened bananas, tangy passionfruit topped with cream is how we made our first ever bar, “The Fruito Bar”. It was developed by Cyril Wes in 1936 and first sold commercially by his son Les in 1957 – from Pop’s Milk Bar across from the Empire Theatre in Toowoomba. Based on the simple concept of fruit salad and ice cream, the unique and refreshing taste of purity of ingredients remains unchanged today and is sure to quench one’s thirst on a hot summer’s day!
Fruit Ice Confection : Water, Bananas (19%), Sugar, Pineapple crush (11%), Lemon Juice, Passion Fruit Juice (2.5%), Milk Solids, Carrot Powder, Beetroot Powder
Ice Cream: Cream (46%), Water, Sugar, Milk Solids.
