The year is 1957. At the Empire Theatre in Neil Street, Toowoomba, Elvis is about to rock the house. But before he does (it's intermission time) across the street at Pop's corner store, the movie-going crowd are knocking the doors down for a treat of a far more local flavour; Les Weis' Fruito Bar.
